Daniel Lee Beard, MFA, is a filmmaker and digital media production professional with extensive experience across narrative features, documentary work, and live broadcast coverage.


With a Master of Fine Arts degree, Daniel has served in multiple capacities on feature-length productions, including producer, post-production supervisor, cinematographer, and director. His work spans from intimate character-driven narratives to large-scale international broadcast events.


From 2016 to 2023, he led videography operations for the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, delivering worldwide live coverage from locations including Thailand, China, Russia, Portugal, Bangladesh, and Egypt. He has also provided comprehensive festival coverage for the Waco Independent Film Festival, documenting red carpets, screenings, and filmmaker panels.


Daniel's technical expertise includes camera systems from Arri, RED, Sony, and Canon, alongside advanced post-production workflows in Adobe Premiere Pro, including proxy workflows and delivery pipelines. His work has been recognized through Academy Award short-list consideration and numerous festival selections.
